Helicopter Dolomites Wedding Photos and Elopements – Prices 2025/26

Helicopter Dolomites and Elopements with Price Overview

Helicopter wedding photos in the Dolomites combine iconic mountain backdrops with clear, timeless imagery. A flight allows for quick changes of location, impressive aerial perspectives, and an exclusive experience, ideal for elopements in small groups.

Prices and photo times

The table below shows the current prices. The landing stops, i.e., the disembarkation phases, are the fixed photo times on the mountain.

Backdrop

The Dolomites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offer rugged rock formations, wide alpine pastures, and intense colors of the lakes. Popular motifs include the Seiser Alm with Langkofel and Plattkofel, Rosengarten with Vajolet Towers, Marmolata, Seceda, Geisler Group, Cirspitzen, Drei Zinnen, Misurina Lake, and Pragser Wildsee.

Experience

I work with a partner who has many years of experience. The company flies daily in the Dolomites and ensures reliable processes and safe decisions.

Organization

On request, I can organize everything related to the flight and stops. This includes the route, selection of photo spots, planning of exit phases, permits, and coordination with the pilot and team.

Why use a helicopter for a wedding shoot in the Dolomites?

A helicopter shoot replaces long climbs with minute flights to remote, permitted plateaus. This allows you to combine several top spots in one day and use aerial photography to capture impressive vistas. The process is easy to plan; weather, safety, and nature conservation determine feasibility. Routes and stops are adjusted daily to ensure compelling images and experiences.

Elopement in the Dolomites Mountains

An elopement benefits from peace and focus. Without a large group of guests, there is more time for the essentials: making targeted use of light windows, developing motifs at your leisure, and integrating symbolic elements organically. A civil wedding follows its own guidelines and takes place at approved locations; a symbolic ceremony on a plateau is often more flexible. Ideally, you should coordinate the details with the airline and photo/video team early on so that your wishes, conditions, and regulations are aligned.

The best time for a Dolomites helicopter wedding shoot

Every season has its own character: in spring, clear air and residual snow at higher altitudes create striking contrasts; in summer, long days and lush greenery are the main attractions, while the morning and evening light offer soft, flattering moods. Autumn brings warm colors and often excellent visibility, while winter reduces the landscape to clear, snow-covered shapes. Regardless of the season, the early morning hours and the golden hour in the late afternoon provide the best conditions. Pilots plan for wind, thermals, and clouds—and the exit phases are timed so that the couple’s photo shoot falls within the ideal window of light.

How a helicopter elopement in the Dolomites works.

The whole thing starts with a briefing and takeoff, usually from Ritten or Brixen. Right at the beginning, if the light and conditions are right, the first aerial photos are taken. This is followed by a landing on a selected mountain plateau, where the exit phase is used as focused photo time. The extended packages include a second stop, which varies the perspective, background, and light. The return flight can take an alternative route to incorporate additional angles. In cooler months, short breaks to warm up are useful, while in summer, buffers help to catch the exact light windows.
